2:30pm :: Parade line up begins
3:00pm :: Parade rolls
Participants: meet on Fremont west of Mississippi.
Come one, come all, freak bikes short and tall! Choppers, tall bikes, swing bikes, double stacks, unicycles and minis... or whatever art bike you ride. Strut your stuff and show off your bike creations and style.
If you're not riding in the parade, grab a good spot along Mississippi and be prepared to see some wild bikes! We guarantee you'll see bikes you've never seen before.
Riders must be in a group and pre-registration to reserve your spot in the parade is required. You can make your own group of whomever you like, so long as your group is unified. Matching outfits, signage, bikes, etc.
Groups can be made up of an actual club, families, neighborhood groups, non-profit organizations or just a bunch of friends. Groups are welcome to promote non-profit causes and social interests (but advertising for commercial purposes is not permitted).
Bring noisemakers and be prepared to strut your velo stuff right down the middle of Mississippi for the one mile route. But watch out, the clowns will be on hand to rope you in if you're out of line!
Groups can be comprised of a minimum of four people.
Portland has a wealth of totally awesome bike clubs doing all sorts of neat tricks, so lets get together to parade for the masses!
It is free to register. Local and out-of-town bike clubs are all welcome. You don't need to have an established bike club to participate, but you do need to have spirit. Whether you ride fixed, chopped, swinging, tall, fast or slow - we want you in the parade.
You need at least three people to register. These "teams" must register in advance through our website because we are coordinating the placement of teams in advance (to avoid two sound systems next to each other, etc).
All parade teams must have a team banner at the front of their group. The team banner can be made of any material but must be big so spectators can see who you are.
This is a family-friendly event. Keep that in mind.
Your team do not, at all, need to be any sort of an official team. If you form the posse only for the parade, that's 100% okay.
Fanfare, antics and entertainment
Toss candy to the crowd

Tons of club pride - really flaunt it!
