Self Enhancement, Inc. (SEI) was founded in 1981 as a one-week basketball camp for high school boys. 25 years later, they have grown to be one of the most comprehensive and effective youth development organizations in the country, serving over 2500 inner-city young people and families annually in year-round academic, enrichment, and family support programs.

SEI is proud to have had a positive impact on thousands of young lives, making Portland a better place to live.



SEI continues to be a leading source providing children and families with options and support to help cultivate positive, contributing citizens.

SEI is located at 3920 North Kerby Ave. Portland, OR 97227. The family ride will start and end in their parking lot.
