VOLUNTEER!
Over 100 volunteers are needed to make the event a success. Meet in front of the Laughing Planet Cafe (between Failing and Beech St on Mississippi Ave.) at the designated time for your volunteer position. All volunteers get a free t-shirt, pizza, a drink and a fun-filled day of bike activities.

12 - 3 pm. Set up canopied, haul boxes, put up signs, etc. 

BARRICADE TRUCK TRANSPORT CREW ***FULL PLEASE PICK A DIFFERENT POSITION
Get the course ready for the racers! Help the organizers prep the course by dropping street barricades and bales of hay on sidewalks to be put into place when the streets close.

1 - 5 pm. Must be able to lift and carry large items up to 50lbs. Bring gloves and sturdy shoes.

COURSE TAPING TEAM ***FULL PLEASE PICK A DIFFERENT POSITION
See the course magically come to life! Help the organizers set-up barricade tape along the course.

3 - 6:30 pm. Wear sturdy shoes.

STREET BARRICADE MONITORS
Help close the streets! Move the barricades that have already been placed on the sidewalk into the street and help direct any car traffic away from the course. You also get to see the race up close!

4:30 - 8:30 pm. Must be able to lift and carry large items up to 12 lbs. Wear sturdy shoes.

COURSE MARSHALLS ***FULL PLEASE PICK A DIFFERENT POSITION
See the race up close! Help monitor street closings and cross walks and let people know when it's ok to cross the course.

6 - 8:30 pm. Should be friendly and diplomatic. Wear comfortable shoes.

FAMILY RIDE AMBASSADORS
Take a ride up to Peninsula Park before the race begins! Family Ride Ambassadors will help organize the start of the ride as well as ride the 3.1 mile course to ensure safety.

2:30 - 5:30 pm. Must wear a helmet.

CARNIES ***FULL PLEASE PICK A DIFFERENT POSITION
Be a part of the coolest bike parade ever! Help check in bikes/floats, organize the parade order, and walk the parade to ensure an even flow of parade participants.

3:30 - 6:30 pm. Carnies should be outgoing and enthusiastic about being a part of the parade.

GENERAL CLEAN-UP ***FULL PLEASE PICK A DIFFERENT POSITION
Be part of the clean up crew that helps make the event disappear in the night like it never happened! Help the weary organizers clean up from this great event by bringing in barricades, cones, and course logistic equipment.

8:30-10:30 pm. It helps if you are able to lift boxes.  Must be able to commit to position for at least two hours. Bring gloves and sturdy shoes. If available, please bring headlamp.
