Over 120 volunteers are needed to make the event a success. Meet in front of the Laughing Planet Cafe (between Failing and Beech St on Mississippi Ave.) at the designated time for your volunteer position. All volunteers get a free t-shirt, food and drink and a fun-filled day of bike activities.

EARLY SET UP/ TRUCK UNLOADING
Get an early start to your volunteer shift so that you can enjoy the festivities!

BARRICADE TRUCK TRANSPORT CREW
Get the course ready for the racers! Help the organizers prep the course by dropping street barricades and bales of hay on sidewalks to be put into place when the streets close. You may also help with other course set up.0

COURSE TAPING TEAM
See the course magically come to life! Help the organizers set-up barricade tape along the course.

RACE SET-UP CREW
See the event magically come to life! Help the race organizers set up barricades, cones, fencing, signage, and other variety of logistics.

1-5 pm. Must be able to lift and carry large items. Must be able to commit to position for at least 3 hours. Bring gloves and sturdy shoes.
BIKE PARKING
Help set up bike parking so that people have a place to put their bikes!

GENERAL VOLUNTEERS FULL! Please pick a different position.
Help pitch in with anything and everything! Whether it be handing out flyers, putting up signs, or sorting race prizes, there are always little projects to be done.

COURSE MARSHALLS
See the racers up close and ensure the safety of the racers and spectators on the course! Assist in safe course crossings when no racers are coming, give spectators and residents a heads up the racers are coming, and keep people off the racecourse.

4:00 - 7:15 pm. Should be very comfortable communicating with the public, is alert and can multitask. Wear comfortable shoes.
FAMILY RIDE COURSE MARSHALS
Keep the kids safe on during the family ride! You will be stationed at a specific location on course with a flag and a safety vest to help bikers cross the street. You can bike to and from your location.

Fuel up the kids as they take a break from their ride! You will help stock snacks and water and take care of trash.

CARNIES
Be a part of the coolest bike parade ever! Help check in bikes/floats, organize the parade order, and walk the parade to ensure an even flow of parade participants.

RACE GUIDE AMBASSADORS
Keep the spectators in the loop!

2-5 pm, 4:30 - 7. Walk to course and hand out race guides to people on the street. Should be friendly and out going.
GENERAL CLEAN-UP
Be part of the clean up crew that helps make the event disappear in the night like it never happened! Help the weary organizers clean up from this great event by bringing in barricades, cones, and course logistic equipment.
